Adjust workspace details, appearance, and access controls from Workspace Settings.

Customizing Your Workspace

Mycelo allows you to tailor your workspace to fit your team’s needs and style. You can update basic details, customize the look and feel, and manage who has access directly from the Workspace Settings.

Accessing Workspace Settings

To open the settings for your current workspace:

  1. Navigate to the workspace you want to customize.
  2. Click on the workspace name or the settings icon (gear) in the sidebar or header.
  3. Select Workspace Settings.

General Settings

In the Workspace settings panel, you can update the fundamental details of your workspace:

  • Name: Change the display name of your workspace.
  • Description: Add a short description to help team members understand the purpose of the workspace. This appears in workspace lists.

Appearance (Pro Feature)

If you are on a Pro plan, you can customize the visual theme of your workspace to match your brand or preference.

  • Workspace Background: Choose a custom color for the canvas background.
  • Menu Color: Select a color for the workspace menu and sidebar.

To reset these colors to the default, simply click the Clear button next to the color picker.

Managing Access

The Workspace Settings panel is also the central hub for managing who can view or edit your workspace.

Organization Members

You can easily add colleagues from your organization:

  1. Look for the Invited users from your organization section.
  2. Check the box next to a user’s name to grant them access.
  3. Use the dropdown menu to assign a role:
    • Viewer: Can only view the workspace.
    • Editor: Can make changes to the workspace.

External Guests

To invite someone outside your organization:

  1. Go to the Invite external users section.
  2. Enter their Email Address.
  3. Select their role (Viewer or Editor).
  4. Click Send Invite.

Managing Invitations & Members

  • Pending Invitations: View a list of sent invitations that haven’t been accepted yet. You can cancel an invitation by clicking the ✕ button.
  • External Members: View and manage external users who have already joined. You can remove their access at any time by clicking the ✕ button.

Saving Changes

Once you have made your desired changes, click the Save button at the bottom of the panel to apply them.
