Creating a Workspace

Workspaces are the core of Mycelo. They are where your projects, whiteboards, and team members live.

How to Create a New Workspace

  1. Open the Sidebar: Look for the sidebar on the left side of the application.
  2. Click the ”+” Button: You will find a plus button (+) usually located at the top or bottom of your workspace list.
  3. Fill in Workspace Details:
    • Name: Give your workspace a clear, descriptive name (e.g., “Marketing Campaign Q4”).
    • Description: Optionally, add a description to help others understand the purpose of this workspace.
    • Public Workspace: Toggle this checkbox if you want the workspace to be discoverable by everyone in your organization.

Adding Members During Creation

You can invite team members right when you create the workspace:

  • By Email: Enter email addresses separated by commas to invite external users or colleagues.
  • Select Users: Browse a list of existing users in your organization and check the boxes next to their names to add them immediately.

Finalizing

Click the “Create” button to finish. You will be immediately taken to your new workspace dashboard.
