Use your invite link, sign in, confirm the workspace, and start collaborating right away.

Accepting a Workspace Invitation

Collaborating with others is at the heart of Mycelo. If a colleague or team member has invited you to join their workspace, follow these steps to accept the invitation and get started.

Receiving the Invitation

You will typically receive an invitation link via email or a direct message. The link will look something like https://Mycelo.app/invite/accept/....

The Invitation Page

When you click the invitation link, you will be taken to a page with the details of the invitation:

  • Inviter: The name of the person who invited you.
  • Workspace: The name of the workspace you are being invited to join.
  • Your Email: The email address the invitation was sent to.
  • Role: The permission level you will have in the workspace (e.g., Member, Admin).

How to Accept

1. Log In (Required)

Important: You must be logged in to Mycelo to accept an invitation.

  • If you are not logged in, you will see a message: “You need to be logged in to accept this invitation.”
  • Click the Sign In link to log in to your account.
  • If you don’t have an account yet, you will need to create one first (see How to Sign Up).

2. Accept the Invitation

Once you are logged in and viewing the invitation details:

  1. Verify that the details are correct.
  2. Click the Accept Invitation button.
  3. The system will verify the invitation.

3. Start Collaborating

Upon successful acceptance, you will see a confirmation message: “Invitation accepted! Redirecting to workspace…”

You will then be automatically redirected to your new workspace dashboard, where you can start collaborating immediately.

Troubleshooting

Invalid or Expired Invitation

If you see an error message saying “Invalid Invitation” or “This invitation is invalid or has expired”:

  • The invitation link may have already been used.
  • The invitation may have been revoked by the workspace admin.
  • The link may be incomplete.

Please contact the person who invited you and ask them to send a new invitation.

”Please log in first”

If you try to click “Accept Invitation” without being logged in, you will be prompted to log in. Ensure you are signed into the account that matches the email address on the invitation, although Mycelo allows you to accept invitations on any account you are currently logged into.
