Activating Promotion Codes

If you have received a promotion code or purchased a lifetime deal (such as through AppSumo), you can redeem it directly within your account settings to unlock premium features.

How to Redeem a Code

1. Log in to your Mycelo account.
2. Navigate to Settings by clicking on your profile or the settings icon.
3. Select the Billing tab.
4. Look for the Redeem AppSumo Code (or Promotion Code) section.
   • Note: This section is typically visible only if you are on a Free plan or do not yet have an active lifetime deal.
5. Enter your code in the input field. The format is usually MYCELO-XXXXXXXXXXXX.
6. Click the Redeem Code button.

Once validated, your account will be automatically upgraded, and you will see a confirmation message.

Verifying Your Status

After redeeming a code, the Billing section will update to show your new status.

• For AppSumo deals, you will see an AppSumo Lifetime Deal card with an “Active” badge.
• You can view details such as the redeemed code and the redemption date in this section.

Troubleshooting

• Invalid Code: Double-check that you have entered the code exactly as it appears, including any dashes.
• Already Redeemed: Each code can only be used once. If you believe this is an error, please contact support.
• Plan Restrictions: Some codes may only be redeemable if you are not currently on an active paid subscription. You may need to cancel a current subscription before redeeming a lifetime deal.
